Like many late-identified neurodivergent people, Danielle spent years feeling like she was missing something. She knew she wanted to support others, but the models Danielle had been taught were deficit-based and often caused more harm than healing.

Once Danielle began studying positive psychology, trauma-informed care, and neuroscience, everything shifted. She realized that neurodivergent people didn’t need to be “fixed”; we need to be seen, validated, and supported in ways that actually work for our brains and bodies.

Rabia’s journey followed a similar path. As a neurodivergent neuropsychologist, she saw firsthand how traditional training left providers unequipped to truly serve neurodivergent clients. I really enjoyed this course!! I have taken a few different ND affirming courses as I am transitioning my practice to being neuro-affirming and to support and advocate for my children, who also identify as ND.
