Breaking Free: How Your Brain Distorts Reality

A Cognitive Distortion Workshop Designed for Neurodivergent Minds

Do you often feel overwhelmed by negative thoughts or beliefs that hold you back, like 'I'm not good enough' or 'I always mess things up'?

Do you find it difficult to be kind to yourself? Are you stuck in negative thinking patterns that leave you feeling frustrated and powerless?

You're not alone. This workshop will teach you why self-compassion is so hard and teach you how to recognize and challenge those unhelpful thinking patterns, empowering you to thrive as your authentic self.

neurokin,

let's talk about human brains.

We all know that human beings are fallible, but many of us don't understand how strongly that fallibility is built into the way our brains interpret reality.

In this workshop, we’re exploring why self-compassion is so difficult for neurodivergent folks, and how your brain perceives reality in a distorted way. You'll be introduced to the basics of self-compassion, drawing from the work of Dr. Kristin Neff, and learn about cognitive distortions—those moments when your brain exaggerates the negative and discounts the positive.

Cognitive distortions impede your ability to see yourself and others clearly, making it harder to practice self-compassion. By learning to recognize and interrupt these distortions, you can start improving your relationship with yourself.

Breaking Free is for you if:

 - you're a neurodivergent person who struggles with negative self-talk or feeling like you’re never "enough."

 - you want to be kinder to yourself but aren’t sure how to stop your brain from sabotaging your efforts.

 - you’re interested in practical techniques for improving your self-compassion and mental well-being.

Let me support you.

I'm Danielle Sullivan, the founder of Neurodiverging. As an autistic/ADHD certified coach and educator with a deep understanding of the neurodivergent experience, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to practice self-compassion when cognitive distortions take over.

I’m passionate about helping people like you break free from harmful thinking patterns and embrace their true potential. That’s why I created this workshop—to share strategies that have worked for me and my clients, helping you build self-kindness and resilience.

If you're ready to break the cycle of frustration and embrace a more empowered mindset, I hope you'll join us today!

I think the most encouraging thing that led me to join your course is that out of all the people I've listened to trying to learn about ADHD and autism, let alone being in the process of diagnosis for it, I found your work so helpful and relatable.

I have taken a few different ND affirming courses as I am transitioning my practice to being neuro-affirming and to support/advocate for my children who also identify as ND as well as for myself as an late-diagnosed ND individual. This is the first course I can actually 'feel' that instructor truly cares about the content and has a real lived experience of either being a ND support system/ally or identify as ND themselves.

Danielle is knowledgable, experienced, and relatable. I started working with Danielle shortly after learning that I was neurodivergent. It was overwhelming to process until I found Danielle. She has helped me understand my neurology, supported me in identifying effective strategies, and coached me through unlearning/learning skills.
